Handmade Gifts

Good morning from breezy, rainy Kauai! We were told December is the wettest month of the year and it seems to be happening! The waterfalls are gushing and everything is still green! No winter doldrums to be found with Christmas less than a week away!

I had two gift exchanges for quilting friends so I used these fabrics…

Look familiar? Scraps from my friend’s quilt!

Christmas fabrics but not in “traditional” colors!

…and made these from this YouTube video!

Cute and fun!

A bit elegant!

I even found gift bags that coordinated!

There is still a bit of time to whip up a few of these if you need a little something for a quilting or sewing friend! Or perhaps get a head start on next year! 😉

Do you have all your gifts selected, wrapped and ready to give?

Supposedly, yesterday was “Panic Saturday”…the last Saturday to shop before Christmas. I hope today is a calm Sunday for you…remember, the true gifts of Christmas are not store bought…

they are the priceless ones…like mine!

Thanks for stopping by and have a lovely day!

Aloha!
